Zuzanna Szymańska, PhD graduated in mathematics and computer science from the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics University of Warsaw. In 2010, at the Polish Academy of Sciences she obtained her PhD degree with distinction in biology with a specialization in biophysics. She is an Assistant Professor at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM) at the University of Warsaw. Her main area of research involves developing multi-scale mathematical models for the growth and spread of cancer.
